Design, develop, manage, analyse, and maintain GIS and geospatial datasets. Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, data conversion, data integration, and thematic mapping. Create accurate and visually effective maps, layouts, dashboards, reports, and GIS visualizations. Manage and maintain geodatabases, spatial databases, GIS layers, metadata, and data standards. Perform data cleaning, validation, quality control, topology checks, and accuracy assessments. Work with vector, raster, satellite imagery, GPS/GNSS, CAD, and other geospatial datasets. Develop and maintain web GIS applications, interactive maps, dashboards, GIS services, and geospatial tools where required. Automate GIS workflows and repetitive processes using Python, ArcPy, SQL, or other relevant technologies. Work with spatial databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle Spatial, or equivalent. Integrate GIS with other systems using APIs, REST services, WMS, WFS, and other OGC standards. Translate business and project requirements into appropriate GIS solutions and analytical outputs. Conduct advanced spatial analysis such as proximity, overlay, network, suitability, hotspot, location, and statistical analysis. Support field-data collection, GPS/GNSS workflows, and integration of field-collected information where required. Prepare technical documentation, workflows, methodologies, reports, and project deliverables. Troubleshoot GIS applications, services, databases, and data-related issues. Collaborate with project managers, developers, analysts, domain experts, and other stakeholders. Depending on experience, take responsibility for project delivery, technical leadership, solution design, stakeholder coordination, and mentoring junior team members. Stay updated with emerging GIS, remote sensing, spatial analytics, automation, and geospatial technologies.
